IR Fact Sheet

IR provides the most current data available as a general description of the activities of the university.

Common Data Set

Provides demographics/statistics and information for numerous publications, surveys, and general inquiries. The common dataset contains the following areas: general information, enrollment and persistence, first time/first year (freshman) admission, transfer admission, academic offerings and policy, student life, annual expenses, financial aid, instructional faculty and class size, degrees conferred, and definitions (based on data provided).

Departmental Dashboards

There are three faculty productivity tabs that are pulled directly from Academic Analytics and compares FSU departments to all other Public R1 institutions: Faculty Productivity Radar & Quintiles, Faculty Productivity Box Plots, and Faculty Career Progression

Preeminence

As one of the three preeminent State University System institutions in Florida, FSU must continuously excel in research, to admit, educate, and graduate an outstanding student body, and to use the additional resources granted to it in ways that build its world-class faculty and benefit students. IR provides a list of preeminent "investments" that are important to FSU as a whole, Performance Indicators (also known as Key Performance Indicators - KPIs), and a link for more information and services including (but not limited to) graduation and retention rates, faculty headcounts, internal and external surveys, performance based funding metrics, etc.
